Will Reflexology help me?

Reflexology is a bespoke treatment, with the session tailored to you for your needs on that day, considering both physical and non-physical factors that might impact your wellbeing.

I do not claim to cure or diagnose diseases. However, there may be areas of sensitivity or 'crystals', also known as blockages or tension, which can reflect corresponding parts of the body. The theory is that reflexology aids the body in naturally restoring its balance.

This non-invasive complementary health therapy can effectively promote deep relaxation and wellbeing and can be used alongside standard healthcare.

How should I prepare for my first treatment?

Prior to your treatment being well hydrated will ensure you benefit the most from your session and abstaining from caffeine & alcohol in the previous 24hours will improve that support to your body.

If you have any questions prior to your treatment you can email, text or call me and we can talk them through prior to your treatment.

What should I expect during a treatment?

On your arrival I will ask for a brief medical history and discuss with you any queries that you have.

I always treat as to how the feet present and will treat the whole body as opposed to just working a particular area of the body.

Once we have discussed your history I will then ask you to remove your shoes and socks and take a seat on the couch.  We will then make you comfy through cushions and supports so that you can lie back and relax.  To support this, I also offer the use of a heated blanket, which is optional but when we are still we can often feel cooler.

I work with a completely natural and neutral balm and without background music.  The time is yours to switch off, it is entirely up to you if you choose to close your eyes or to chat or a combination of both!

How may I feel after a treatment?

After a treatment you may well feel; relaxed, calmer, peaceful, stiller in the mind, increased clarity of thought.  These are all expressions I have been told by clients or experienced myself after a treatment.

Evidence shows that Reflexology will reduce Stress, improve Sleep, Reduce Heart Rate (HR), Reduce Blood Pressure (BP), Reduce Respiratory Rate (RR) & Increase Oxygen Saturations (SpO2)
